A healthy breakfast kids love!--A bzzagent report on Post Alpha Bits Cereal

Monday, December 17, 2012

I was super excited to be chosen to try and review Alpha Bits with my children. When Bzzagent offered this campaign to me I was eager to get the product in the mail and try it out. As a busy mom I do not always have the time to cook a big breakfast for my children and cereal is often our go-to. My girls are pretty picky when it comes to cereal. They dislike overly sugary cereals and we also do not eat cereal with dyes in them. This cereal looked like something fun for the little ones as the cereal looks like the alphabet and also fit the nutritional values we look for in a cereal.

Post Alpha-Bits cereal is a great way for your child to kick off their day each and every morning. Not only is Alpha-Bits a fun and wholesome breakfast choice enjoyed by American families since 1958, it also provides 20 grams of whole grain* and 12 essential vitamins and minerals per serving. Plus, the great taste will have your child running to the breakfast table every morning to get extra practice with their letters!
*Per 30g serving. Nutritionists recommend at least 3 servings of whole grain foods each day (about 16g per serving or 48g per day).

My girls loved the cereal, especially the littlest one. She likes to eat them as a snack. They are sweetened lightly but it isn’t an overwhelmingly sweet taste that gives my girls a tummy ache. I will definitely be picking up Alpha Bits again in the future!

I received this product free from Post for being a BzzAgent! To find out more about this fantastic program and how you can get involved please visit bzzagent.com I was not required to write a positive review. The views and opinions I have expressed are my own.
